PU Library organizes introductory talk on books

LAHORE: (Saturday, December 13, 2025): Punjab University Library Book Club organized an interactive literary session, featuring insightful discussions on two significant books: The Secret of Secrets by Dan Brown and Pakistan ke Hayatiyati Mantaqay aur Nizam by Zahid Baig Mirza. On this occasion, Chief Librarian Muhammad Asif Khan, Director Students Affairs Dr Shahzeb Khan, Assistant Professor Dr Bushra Nisar Khan, faculty members and a large number of students were present. Dr Shahzeb Khan delivered an engaging talk on Dan Brown’s novel, highlighting its narrative depth, thematic layers, and global appeal. Dr Bushra Nisar Khan presented an informative discussion on Pakistan’s ecological regions as explored in the featured book, offering valuable scientific insights into the country’s biodiversity and environmental systems. Chief Librarian Muhammad Asif Khan emphasized the Library's commitment to promoting reading habits and intellectual engagement through such programs. He said that the PU Library Book Club continues to serve as an enriching platform for literary appreciation, critical thinking, and academic dialogue.
