Literary Evening in Honor of Manchester-Based Famous Literary Personality

The Institute of Urdu Language and Literature, University of the Punjab, Lahore, organized a literary evening in honor of the renowned literary personality from Manchester, UK, Mrs. Faiqa Gul Saibzada. The event was presided over by the Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Learning, University of the Punjab, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran.
The stage secretary of the event was the famous poet Saima Kamran, who conducted the program efficiently. A number of distinguished poets from across Pakistan participated in the evening, reciting their poetry. The poets included Dr. Sagheer Ahmed Sagheer, Zahida Jabeen Rao, Gulfaam, Ahmed Subhani Aakash, Saima Kamran, and the chief guest Mrs. Faiqa Gul Saibzada.
The attendees of the literary evening included Dr. Muhammad Naeem Virk, Dr. Zaheer Abbas, Mrs. Sonia Saleem, Humayoun Saibzada, and numerous students of the Institute of Urdu.
During the event, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran highlighted the glorious history of the Oriental College, University of the Punjab, Lahore. He emphasized that the promotion of Urdu and Pakistani literature and culture is a primary objective of the students and teachers of the Oriental College, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan.
